Parish School of Religion (Formerly CCD)

Image

Our parish provides a Catholic education for those children (pre-kindergarten to high school) who attend private and public schools. This ministry requires the help of many parishioners who enjoy sharing their faith. Opportunity is also given to volunteers to learn more about the Catholic faith through classes provided by the Archdiocese. Commitment is in preparation of classes and in the teaching of students on Sundays from 4:15 P.M. to 5:45 P.M. from September to early May with no classes in January. With holidays, the total commitment is 26 Sundays. This is a much-needed and valuable ministry to our parish. We are teaching our Catholic youth who are the present and future Catholic Church.

Vacation Bible School

Our parish provides an education and fun one-week program in August for young Catholics to learn more about their faith. Parishioners are needed to aid students (ages 4 to 10) in crafts, games and refreshments, music and storytelling. This is a fun week to teach our young Catholics about the Bible and their Lord.
